- In a mixing bowl, blend the softened butter and sugar together with a spoon until you achieve a creamy consistency. 
- Add the oatmeal, vanilla powder, cacao powder, and coffee (or water) to the mixture. Using a spoon or, if you prefer, your hands, mix everything thoroughly until a smooth, pliable batter forms. 
- Shape the batter into small balls. Traditionally, these are slightly smaller than a golf ball, but feel free to make them any size you like. 
- Spread the desiccated coconut on a plate. Roll each chocolate ball in the coconut until it is fully coated. 
- Place the chocolate balls in the refrigerator to set.
